Kimberly Sears is a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WSAV-TV News 3. Kimberly comes to Savannah from Abilene, Texas where she worked as a multi-media journalist at KTAB-TV. During her stay out west, Kimberly pretty much did it all. She reported from all over the vast coverage area west of Dallas-Ft. Worth, shooting her own stories. She filled in anchoring on both morning and evening newscasts and was selected to host her own program, KTAB4u, a live thirty-minute entertainment show.
But after eight years of competitive tennis, Kimberly's passion for sports couldn't be denied and now serves her well. Sports fans, you'll get all of the highlights and x's and o's you want but Kimberly also loves the challenge of creating unique feature stories about the athletes, coaches and fans that interest everyone.
Kimberly is from the Sunshine State, attended the University of Miami and majored in Broadcast Journalism and Sports Administration. You'll see her sportscasts every Saturday and Sunday at 6 and 11 p.m. and her unique reporting throughout the week only on WSAV-TV News 3.
