LADY’S ISLAND, S.C. – An RV fire spread to a Lady’s Island home early Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to the home on Blythewood Street around 3:30am to find the RV fully involved and the house catching.
The homeowners were able to make it out of the home ok, but not before 30% of the house was destroyed. The rest has smoke and water damage. A dog (named Angel) was rescued from the burning home. It had inhaled smoke and was given oxygen by emergency crews on scene. It was transported for further treatment and is now fine.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
