After months on the run, and more than a month after he was profiled on Fugitive Files, a wanted gun suspect has turned himself in to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police.

Dominique Daniels surrendered Sunday. The 17 year old now faces theft, obstruction and probation violation charges.

“He always carries a firearm and for being 17 years old he is very dangerous.”

Just 17 years old, Dominique Daniels is well known to police after what they call “numerous incidents’ around Savannah.

Now officially an adult, Daniels is wanted again. This crime started with a traffic stop.

“I initiated a traffic stop for a tag violation. He was a backseat passenger,” explained SCMPD APO David Lane. “He started to tense up and all of a sudden broke away from the back of the vehicle. He took off running, he ended up falling, we ended up getting him. Once he was on the ground the gun i guess seemed to fall out and he was able to get away.” He ended up throwing both of us off him.”

Daniels ran that day, and hasn’t been seen since.

“Having two guns in the vehicle, drugs and the way he was able to get away he’s very dangerous,” explains Lane.

Dominique Daniels is 6’2″ 180 pounds. He could be in the State street area of Savannah, or possibly in Atlanta.

He faces gun and theft charges.
