From movie theaters to a favorite Japanese restaurant, John Travolta has been popping up all around town.
The star of “Grease” and “Pulp Fiction” is in Savannah filming for “The Poison Rose,” which also features Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman.
According to IMDB, the film is inspired by the classic Noir about an ex-football star turned private investigator who has “a soft spot for a lady in distress.”
On Tuesday, Travolta took a break from filming to eat at Hirano’s, a Japanese restaurant on Habersham Street.
The restaurant shared a photo of Travolta along with one of their chef’s, Sakuma Takamitsu, on their Facebook page.
“John and his family stopped in to dine with us!” the photo caption reads.
It seems like Travolta just can’t get enough of the restaurant – a signed photo of him is still hanging up from a previous visit.
On Wednesday, Travolta stopped by Coastal Pediatrics off of White Bluff Road.
“Don’t worry, patient care was only abandoned for one minute for this picture,” the pediatric office said on Facebook.
No word on why Travolta was visiting, but we’re not sure anyone was sick. Over in Pooler, Morgan Freeman was also spotted at a family care clinic.
Fittingly enough, a few moviegoers spotted the actor with his wife at a local movie theater on Memorial Day.
According to Merrik Foune, a local teen actress, Travolta took a minute to meet with her family and pose for a picture at the AMC theater on Shawnee Street.
Merrik said Travolta and his wife were very nice, and as a young actress, she loved seeing a bit of Hollywood in our part of Georgia.
