Dawson County Sheriff’s Office: Work release escapee may be headed to Colorado

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – (WSAV) Authorities are searching for an inmate on work release who didn’t report back to the Dawson County Detention Center at the end of his shift over the weekend. 

Jeremy Pruitt-Adkins, 29, has been on the run since May 25. He is 5’8 tall and weighs 140 pounds. It is believed he may be heading to Colorado by bus and possibly traveling with 27-year-old Lea Marie Nichole Propst, a 5’3, 107 pound white female. The DCSO has an active warrant on Pruitt-Akins. Propst does not have any current charges.
