Dr. Jamal Touré of Day Clean Journeys has today’s Black History moment for Feb. 5:

“Dr. Maxine Bryant is the interim director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Georgia Southern University. She was the coordinator of an anti-violence program. Her program sought to educate the public on conflict resolution.

Dr. Bryant is the author of two books. In 1994, she was recognized as one of America’s 2000 notable women.”
