SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Savannah Police Department (SPD) says the bones found in a construction zone last week do not belong to a human.
On Saturday, Oct. 8, a construction crew discovered what police described as “several small objects that appear to be bone” in a work zone on Broughton Street.
The items were turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for further testing. Following the GBI’s testing, the bones were determined to be not human.
SPD says there is no further investigation ongoing.
