Autopsy shows 10-year-old SC girl died of natural causes, not injuries from school fight

News

There’s some new information in the death of a 10-year-old girl from Colleton County.
An autopsy report released on Thursday shows Raniya  Wright died of natural causes. The report says Wright died after blood vessels ruptured in her brain.
Last month, Wright was taken to the hospital after a fight at school in Walterboro. Doctors say the fight had nothing to do with her death. They say she had a pre-existing condition that resulted in her death.
