BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) – Get a look from inside the cockpit as pilots and performers prepare for the 2019 MCAS Beaufort Air Show.
On Friday, performers took to the skies to rehearse for this weekend’s big show. Video, captured by 8-time national aerobatic champion Rob Holland, shows skydivers exiting an MV-22 Osprey.
More than 100,000 spectators are expected to attend the show, held Saturday and Sunday at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort.
Admission is free but paid seating is available for purchase.
The air show will showcase a host of performers and none other than the United States Naval Flight Demonstration Team — the Blue Angels.
The biannual show is held not only to promote recruiting efforts for the Marine Corps and Navy, it’s also a way for the air station to say “thank you” to the community.
Gates open at 9 a.m. each day. For more information, visit here.
