SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – One person was injured and another has been arrested in a shooting in West Savannah early Friday afternoon.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), the incident happened at Richards and West streets around 12:30 p.m.

One male victim was found suffering from an injury. He was transported to Memorial Health and is expected to be OK.

A few hours after the shooting, SPD announced that 22-year-old Kamri Jones had been arrested in connection with the shooting. Charges are pending.
