Savannah Police seek to ID armed robbery suspect

Detectives are looking for a man accused of robbing an Abercorn Street convenience store.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7 an armed man entered the Parker’s at 10525 Abercorn Street and demanded cash from the register.

Police said he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a slender, light-skinned black male around 5’5’’ to 5’8’’. He was wearing all black and was seen driving a black four-door sedan.

SPD’s Robbery Unit detectives are hoping the public can help identify the suspect.

Anyone with information o his identity is urged to call the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (912) 525-3124. Information can be submitted anonymously to CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters may qualify for a cash reward.
