19-year-old arrested in connection to deadly Halloween shooting in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection to a fatal Halloween shooting.

Terrance Palmer was shot on the 100 block of Morekis Drive around 1:20 p.m. Sunday, according to the Savannah Police Department (SPD).

The 23-year-old was taken to Memorial Hospital where he died.

On Thursday, SPD announced Paris Holmes, 19, had been charged with party to a crime (murder), robbery by sudden snatching and two counts of aggravated assault. He was booked into the Chatham County jail on Wednesday.

No word yet on a murder suspect. SPD says due to this being an active investigation, further details are not being released.
