SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting stemming from a domestic incident Sunday morning.

Police need your help locating the suspect involved in the incident. Michael Damar Williams, 31, of Garden City, is wanted by police on charges of aggravated assault (DVA) and aggravated battery (DVA).

Police initially arrived on the scene in the 1000 block of Shawnee Street late Sunday morning.

Officers say that one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries on Dec. 11. It was later determined that the victim’s injuries were not caused by gunshot wounds.

Williams fled the scene before officers arrived. Police say he may be traveling in a blue 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 truck.
