Savannah Police arrests man wanted by 3 area departments

Savannah Police have arrested a man wanted for burglary and over 30 counts of entering auto from multiple departments.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), Dontrey Roberson, 32, was arrested during a traffic stop near Augusta Avenue and Farrill Street early Wednesday evening.

SPD says Roberson had nine outstanding felony warrants from Savannah Police Department, Garden City Police Department and Chatham County Sheriff’s Office. Inside the vehicle, officers also located three Ecstasy pills.

Savannah Police Department warrants included burglary second degree and four counts of entering auto.

Garden City Police Department warrants include burglary, 27 counts of entering auto.

Chatham County Sheriff’s Office’s warrant was for a probation violation.

Roberson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

According to Chatham County bookings, he is currently being held without bond.
