Savannah man arrested in major forgery case in Tattnall County

On Wednesday, March 13, the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Christopher Glenn Grooms, 39, of Savannah, for three counts of 1st Degree Forgery as a result of a lengthy investigation in Tattnall County.

The investigation concerned the discussion of multiple forged documents at several different financial institutions. Additional charges are forthcoming.
