Three men were arrested and thousands of dollars of drugs were seized during a joint operation in Savannah last week.

According to the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT) on Thursday, March 7, undercover agents stopped a vehicle of interest on Bee Road near Anderson Street. During a search of the vehicle, CNT agents found more than 3,400 ecstasy pills.

CNT arrested Oronda Oberry, Oranda Hamilton and Eric Maxwell for Trafficking a Controlled Substance. A vehicle was also seized.

All remain in the Chatham County Detention Center.

Officials say the drugs seized have an estimated street value of up to $68,000.

This was part of an ongoing investigation of CNT and the Savannah Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force. Authorities say additional arrests in the investigation are possible.
