Missing Savannah woman found safe, police say

A missing Savannah woman has been located, according to Chatham County Police.

Ayesha Gizzard was reported missing on Thursday. Police sent a notice Friday morning saying she has been found safe.

Detectives are searching for a 35-year-old Savannah woman, saying they are concerned about her well-being.

Investigators don’t believe foul play is involved but urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ayesha Gizzard to call 911.

Gizzard was last seen at her home Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. in the Sandfly area, according to the Chatham County Police Department (CCPD).

Police say she left her house driving a black Acura MDX with Georgia license tag RPS 1938.
