SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – One inmate was injured in a fight at Coastal State Prison earlier this week, the Georgia Department of Corrections confirmed.
Officials said three inmates were involved in the altercation on Tuesday.
One of the inmates received “laceration wounds” and was treated by medical professionals outside of the prison.
The inmate has since returned to the facility.
