Police are looking for a woman accused of driving into a Subway and fleeing the scene.

According to Hinesville Police Traffic Accident Investigator, Gregory Lachowsky, the crash happened around 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Lachowsky said the driver of a gray car pulled into the parking lot, struck the building and sat there for a few minutes before backing up and driving eastbound onto General Screven Way.

He says the vehicle was driven by a woman with a male passenger. The car had a Georgia license plate and was either a Hyundai or a Honda.

No one was injured in the accident, but the crash caused an estimated $15,000 in damages.

The store will close temporarily while repairs are made.
