SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah Police re-confirmed Tuesday morning the drowning of a 3- year old in a Daffin Park pond last week was accidental.
An initial report characterized the death as “suspicious.” Police say they have since determined otherwise.
The child is reported to have been with a baby sitter and ran into the water.
Tuesday morning, a police spokesperson says detectives have fully investigated the incident.
Police call it a tragic accident and say no charges will be filed.
