SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A man wanted for probation violation has been apprehended, according to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said Michael Myers was taken into custody by the Savannah Police Department on Friday, Jan. 13.

“Thanks to all that assisted in efforts to locate Myers, we appreciate your help,” CCSO stated. “Please continue to follow us as we work together to keep our community safe!”

Officials say Michael Myers’ last known address is 10614 Abercorn St.

Facebook commenters were quick to point out that a Michael Myers, the same name as the “Halloween” central character, was being reported on Friday the 13th.

“Ironically, it’s pure coincidence! But, clearly challenging… it is for real,” CCSO commented.
