Children at center of St. Mary’s Amber Alert found safe in Midwest

ST. MARY’S, Ga. (WSAV) – Three children reported missing and in “extreme danger” out of St. Mary’s on Thursday have been found safe in the Midwest.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the Gentry family that was the subject of an Amber Alert, has been located in Indiana.

All family members are safe, including 3-year-old Kole, 5-year-old Autumn and 6-year-old Meadow.

First Coast News reports that according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the children were abducted by their father, 26-year-old Marshall Gentry, around noon Wednesday.

The news outlet reports that a woman claiming to be Marshall Gentry’s wife posted on their social media page stating that the children were safe and no one was abducted.

According to First Coast News, the National Center for Exploited Children said they were aware of the information but couldn’t comment further.

“The Indiana authorities are continuing to investigate the case to determine if all voluntarily left the Camden County area,” the Camden County Sheriff’s Office stated. “Our sincere thanks to all media and public response to this investigation.”

ST. MARY’S, Ga. (WSAV) – Authorities out of Camden County are asking the public to be on the lookout for three children believed to be in “extreme danger.”

An Amber Alert was issued out of St. Mary’s on Thursday for the children who may be traveling in a Black 2019 Toyota Tundra with a Georgia license tag RTQ7135:

  • Kole Aaron Gentry – 3 years old, male, white
  • Autumn Liann Gentry – 5 years old, female, white
  • Meadow Lin Gentry – 6 years old, female, white

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Marshall Aaron Gentry, a 26-year-old white male, abducted the children on Wednesday. He was last seen in St. Mary’s.

First Coast News reports the 26-year-old is the father of the children and that he is heavily armed and known to be suicidal. The news outlet also reports the children’s mother may be in danger.

Anyone who sees the vehicle, Marshall Gentry or the children is urged call 911.
