Police in Liberty County arrested 13 people for drag racing in the middle of a neighborhood in Gum Branch.
Detectives were called to Hodges Road around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night. They say drivers blocked off parts of the road and used them as a racetrack.
When deputies got there, they sealed off both entrances, while they questioned several people who watched the race.
Dozens of vehicles were towed from the scene. 10 suspects are members of the military, assigned to Fort Stewart.
All suspects are facing drag racing charges, which is a misdemeanor.
