SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a bowling alley shooting in late February that left one woman injured.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), the incident happened just after midnight on Feb. 27 outside AMF Savannah Lanes on Tibet Street. Police said a fight broke out in the parking lot of the bowling alley.

A suspect can be seen on surveillance footage released by police Tuesday, though a description is limited.

SPD described the suspect as a Black male. He was seen was wearing light or khaki pants with a short sleeve, dark-colored shirt that had white sleeves and writing across the chest.

“We know there were multiple people who witnessed the shooting that evening,” said Savannah Police Maj. Ben Herron. “We are asking anyone who saw the incident to come forward to speak with detectives. Even the smallest piece of information can assist in the progress of this case.”

Police said a 21-year-old woman was grazed by a bullet, but her injury was not life-threatening.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call SPD’s Violent Crimes Tip Line at 912-525-3124.

Information can also be submitted anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or online. Tipsters may qualify for a cash reward.
