A local clothing business dedicated to giving back to veterans and first responders is hosting their first blood drive on Friday.
Nine Line Apparel, in partnership with the American Red Cross, will be holding the drive from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. on June 1 at their facility on Fort Argyle Road.
All donors will receive a free R.E.D. t-shirt and 15 percent off of all veteran-inspired designs in the Nine Line store.
Their goal is to gather 20 pints of blood in the drive. Each pint can help up to save lives, according to Red Cross officials.
“We hope that our drive will not only support the need for blood in the local community but also inspire others in our area to organize their own drives,” said Ashli Clubine, Director of Public Relations for Nine Line Apparel in a press release.
“Our support of the American Red Cross is ongoing, and we look forward to hosting more drives in the future.”
R.E.D. stands for “Remember Everyone Deployed.” The special design will also be available on Nine Line’s website and in their store.
