There are always people in need when the holidays arrive — and one Lowcountry organization is doing its part to help.
Bluffton Self Help is hosting a special food distribution this week for people who live or work in Bluffton.
They’ll have everything you need to cook a good Thanksgiving dinner, from potatoes to green beans, sweet potatoes and stuffing. Every family will also go home with a ham or turkey.
You have to be a Bluffton Self Help member to qualify, but you can still register through this Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Just stop by Bluffton Self Help at 39 Sheridan Park Circle, and bring your photo ID and proof of residency.
The dinner supplies will be handed out starting at 9 am Thursday.
And if you would like to make a donation, Bluffton Self Help is gladly accepting food or money. You can bring any donations by between 10 am- 4 pm.
If you have lots of things to give, volunteers will be there to help unload your car.
