The numbers are in for our Clear the Shelters campaign in August.

All month long, WSAV teamed up with local businesses and shelters to help up supply donations and pet adoptions.

Check out all of the pets that found their “fur-ever” homes:

– 40 adoptions from One Love Animal Rescue
– 14 adoptions from Operation New Hope
– 85 adoptions from Hilton Head Humane
– 85 adoptions from Palmetto Animal League
– 80 adoptions from Coastal Pet Rescue
– 70 adoptions from Jasper County Animal Shelter

That makes for a grand total of… 374 adoptions!

We want to give a special thanks to our partners at Peacock Subaru as well as all of the participating shelters. The work they do day in and day out for these animals is unparalleled.

And a huge thank you to everyone who dropped off donations, came to a Yappy Hour or made a pet part of your family. You helped make Clear the Shelters 2018 a big success.
