At this time, Toombs County Schools plans to return for traditional learning on Friday, Aug. 7 and virtual/distance learning on Friday, Aug. 14.

If families choose the virtual/distance learning model, one semester minimum is required.

Virtual learners grades K-2 will use Google Classroom and 3-12 will use Odysseyware.

For traditional instruction, students and staff can wear masks but it is not required. Cafeteria workers are required to wear masks. School sanitizing measures have been established.

Should a student or staff member test positive for COVID-19, the Georgia Department of Public Health will handle contact tracing.

If a school shuts down due to COVID-19, a plan in is place to continue education virtually.
