Digital Producer
A nearly 20-year veteran journalist, Steven Poeling has been integral to WSAV’s coverage of the biggest stories throughout the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry for the past six years.
Steven became the producer of WSAV News 3 at 11 in December of 2015. He moved to the WSAV NOW digital team in 2019. As the morning digital producer, Steven is responsible for ensuring you get the latest and most important stories from WSAV.com when you wake up in the morning.
Before moving to Savannah, Steven worked for KAMC and KLBK-TV News in Lubbock, Texas, as an executive producer, producer and photojournalist.
The West Texan graduated in 2004 from Texas Tech University, home of the Red Raiders. Guns up!
Besides his many years of journalism experience, Steven brings many other interests to the job. He is a musician, songwriter, artist and proud father.
