Kaley Fedko joined the WSAV News 3 team in January of 2023. She anchors the weekend evening newscasts and serves as a reporter during the week.
Kaley has always had an affinity for the South. Some of her fondest memories include vacationing to Disney World twice a year as a child and driving through Savannah, always being told by her father “it was the most beautiful city in America.”
Before arriving in Savannah, Kaley spent three years at WDTV, the CBS affiliate of Clarksburg, W.Va., where she worked as a weekend anchor, reporter, morning anchor and most recently, an evening anchor. Some of the pinnacles of her career are attributed to her time at WDTV where she interviewed West Virginia Governor Jim Justice, anchored special election shows, reported on the high-profile trial of serial killer Reta Mays and became the first anchor in station history to be brought on as co-anchor for the 11 p.m. weekday newscast.
Kaley graduated with high honors from the University of Miami with a dual degree in journalism and history. As a history buff, she was thrilled to move to a place like Savannah with such a rich culture and history.
Though Kaley reports on all journalistic beats, her niche is politics. Her ultimate career aspiration is to work as a political correspondent or commentator for a major television network. Some of the broadcasters she admires and looks to for inspiration are CBS’s Nora O’Donnell, CNN’s Clarissa Ward, and Fox News’ Harris Faulkner.
In her free time, Kaley enjoys going to the beach, shopping at her favorite store, Whole Foods, watching Game of Thrones, decorating her apartment and reading.
