Prior to coming to WSAV, Joey was the Sports Director at WCTV in Tallahassee, Fla. Prior to Tallahassee, Joey worked for KXMB. Joey is believed to be the first African American sports director in North Dakota history. He thoroughly enjoyed his three years in the Peace Garden State. After leaving Albany, he spent time as an anchor/reporter for KFBB servicing the Great Falls and Helena areas. Before starting his career in sports journalism, he interned at USA Track & Field, WLFI-News 18, West Lafayette and WRTV, Indianapolis.
