Dajhea Jones joined the WSAV Digital Team in January 2022.
She grew up in Columbus, Georgia, where she attended K-12. She had plans to become a doctor, but that all changed her senior year of high school when she discovered broadcast and media. She went on to graduate from Columbus State University with her bachelor’s in Communication and Integrated Media.
After graduating, she landed her first job in local news as a Digital Content Producer at WTVM in Columbus and found a passion for social media and web. While at WTVM, Dajhea covered regional and state news for the Chattahoochee Valley and the state of Georgia.
Shortly after, Dajhea decided to bring her talents four hours away from home to serve the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
When she isn’t posting content to the web or social media, you can find Dajhea cuddling with her two pups – Gemini and Aria – or finding something good to watch.
