Claire’s interest in digital media began when she worked as a digital media intern at Rodale Inc., writing news articles for Bicycling, Women’s Health, and Men’s Health online magazines. Her interest expanded to television reporting while working at Spectrum News NY1 in Manhattan. She furthered her experience in digital media while working as a communications intern at the Center for International Policy in Washington, D.C.

Claire studied broadcast journalism and international relations at Pennsylvania State University. She was an executive producer, reporter, and anchor for The Centre County Report, Penn State’s weekly live television newscast that airs in 29 counties across Pennsylvania. She was also a reporter for 46 LIVE, a continuous 46-hour broadcast of Penn State’s THON, with viewership from 128 countries.

She is eager to work on long-form digital journalism similar to the short documentary she created in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv on the increasing number of women in combat roles in the Israeli Defense Forces. “On The Front Lines: Israeli Women in Combat” was awarded 5th place in the national Hearst Journalism competition.

Claire enjoys going for runs around town, reading good books, and listening to live music. If you catch her around town be sure to say hello! She loves meeting new people and making new friends.
