Brian Rea joined the WSAV News 3 team in June 2021 and is thrilled to now call Savannah home.
His journalism career started early — as in the second grade when he began circulating his elementary school’s first newspaper.
Brian graduated magna cum laude from Elon University in North Carolina, where he majored in Journalism and minored in Political Science. At Elon, Brian was a reporter and anchor for Elon News Network, the award-winning student news organization.
A Massachusetts native, Brian also interned at WCVB-TV in Boston.
When he’s not out reporting, you can find Brian strolling the beach, spinning vinyl or sipping on a cup of coffee. He also loves playing with his Shih Tzu-Bichon, Cookie, when he visits home.
