SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – In celebration of Mother’s Day, Hospice Savannah hosted an event to celebrate women and mothers.
This year’s event was focused on honoring Helen Downing, according to organizers.
Helen and her daughter, Callie, shared family stories of Downing’s life as a mother and beloved Savannah leader. The “We Remember Mama” is a part of Hospice Savannah’s “Story Keeping Program.”
