SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Historic Savannah Foundation hosted its annual Preservation Awards on Thursday at the Charles H. Morris Center.

Two Savannah projects won Preservation Awards for historic renovations and restorations completed in Downtown Savannah. 38th Street School, a 100-year-old school that was converted into 27 boutique apartments, and The Darling Oyster Bar, a 130-year-old building that was converted into a fine-dining restaurant both won.

The Darling Oyster Bar is not yet open to the public but will be later this year.
