Advance tickets for the NC State Fair now on sale

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Advanced tickets for the 2014 North Carolina State Fair went on sale Friday.

Adult advance tickets are $7 and child advance tickets are $3. At the gate adult tickets will cost $9 and a child ticket will cost $4.

Advance tickets will be sold from Aug. 1 to Oct. 16.

Walk-up sales will begin Oct. 2 and will be on sale through Oct. 16.

You can purchase advance tickets on the N.C. State Fair website.

The N.C. State Fair runs from Oct. 16 to Oct. 26.
