Full Wrap From Day 1 of the Oglethorpe Invitational

 (Savannah) - The 32nd Annual Oglethorpe Invitational teed off a day early, and scores are low.  71 golfers are at even par or better entering Round 2 Friday's play.  The tournament traditionally ran from Friday through Sunday.  But will finish up Sunday afternoon.

North Carolina's Daniel Pizetoski set the pace with a 7-under-par 64.  Armstrong golfer Shad Tuten is a stroke back in solo-second.  Georgia Southern Associate Head Golf Coach Carter Collins, Savannah's Gus Beisel and Jack Hall are in a group of golfers tied for eighth at -4.


The leaders will tee off at 1:30 at the Wilmington Island Club.  The tournament is FREE and open to the public.
