Ellison emerged as the starting QB after a solid Spring under new head coach Willie Fritz.  With three years left of eligibility, Ellison could provide the Eagles with stability at the key position in the option-style offense.  Coach Fritz says the Eagles will still run the option but will throw the ball 15-25 times a game.  He's confident in Ellison since he ran the same style of offense in high school (Habersham Central H.S.).

Ellison ran for 886 yards and eight touchdowns in 2013 and passed for 756 yards and two TD's.
