Wanted Child Molestor On the Run in Chatham County

CHATHAM COUNTY, GA -  Aundra Maxwell is from Savannah, but has spent extensive time in the chatham county jail on a series of dangerous charges.

"He has 3 sex offender registration violations and 2 escapes and a child molestation case pending," said Investigator Frank Rollins of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office. "He's been offending since the early 1990's"

Now Maxwell is on the loose again. accused of violating his probation and running from authorities.

Aundra Maxwell is 6'1" tall 180 lbs, he was last seen in the 4700 block of Ogeechee Road, but could be anywhere in Savannah.

"If you don't know him, the whereabouts of a sex offender its always a threat to the community," said Investigator Rollins. "We would like to catch them as soon as possible."
