Metro Police are on the scene of a shooting at Daffin Park.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. near the basketball court.

A WSAV employee witnessed the shooting and says that three men were in a verbal argument and were about to go fight when a fourth man pulled out a gun and fired three or four shots.

After that, our team member says everyone started screaming and scattering.

Our employee says the victim appears to have been shot in the leg and ran up to 50 yards before he collapsed.

Metro Police say the victim was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with what appear to be non life-threatening injuries.

Our team member says the park was packed when the shots were fired and it's amazing no one else got hurt.

Metro Police have not made any arrests.
