Sunny Golloway may be close to hiring a replacement pitching coach according to reports that surfaced Monday afternoon.
Kendall Rogers of Perfect Game USA tweeted that Golloway was expected to hire North Carolina State assistant Tom Holliday as the Tigers’ pitching coach, replacing Scott Foxhall, who was not retained after this season.
Holliday is the father of St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt, as well as Oklahoma State head coach Josh. He has spent 35 years in college coaching, including 26 at Oklahoma State. Holliday has also won a national championship at both Arizona State and Texas.
