Crawdads win home double header

PHENIX CITY, Ala. - College and high school baseball may be over in our area. But, the Phenix City Crawdads are just getting going.

They are a summer league baseball team who helps players keep working on their game after the regular season ends.

The Crawdads played their first home games Saturday against the Douglasville Bulls.

Carson Bowers led the way in the first game with an RBI double in the fourth inning. It propelled the Crawdads to a 4-1 win.

Phenix City also won the second game by a score of 7-3.

The Crawdads play their home games at Glenwood High School.
