Laptop stolen from Davis Elementary school

COLUMBUS, Ga. - At least one laptop was taken after someone broke into J. D. Davis Elementary School early Wednesday morning, a Muscogee County School District spokesperson confirms to WRBL News 3.

At 12:37a et, the building alarm was activated after someone - or multiple people - broke a window in Room 127, spokesperson Valerie Fuller says. Responding Columbus Police Department officers observed two individuals near the school upon arrival but were unable to question or apprehend them.

A school employee has reported at least one laptop is missing, Fuller says.
