Marine surprises sister on wedding day in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -

An active duty Marine surprised his sister on her wedding day in Charlotte, N.C.

Daniel Atwood is currently on deployment. The night before his sister Sarah’s wedding, their mother read a letter to Sarah, informing her that Daniel would not be able to make the wedding.

According to multiple media outlets, Daniel was granted a last-minute day’s leave so that he could attend.
