Bluffton Softball Keeps State Title Hopes Alive

(Bluffton) - The Bluffton High School softball team faced a must-win situation in the South Carolina High School League Class 4A state championship series... and got the job done!  The Lady Bobcats built a 4-0 lead and won 4-1 over Byrnes to force a deciding Game #3 Friday evening at 6pm at Lexington High School.

Taylor Gleason nearly homered to right centerfield... stretched it into a triple and scored on a throwing error to give Bluffton a 2-0 lead.  Kim Kerby homered in the fourth inning to extend the lead and give the large crowd at Bluffton High School a lot to cheer about.
