National Cancer Survivors Day Event in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA - June 1, 2014 people from all corners of the United States will celebrate life for those who have survived cancer.  The 27th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day is also a chance to reach out to those who are newly diagnosed, and learn about support for families. 
Surviving Sisters, Inc. of Savannah will celebrate at Daffin Park with “Hats Off to Breast Cancer Survivors.  The goal is to
 re-engage, rejuvenate, and reconnect survivors with their family, friends, and community supporters.
Surviving Sisters invite you to bring your picnic blankets, food, and beverages for a relaxing environment.  
The event is Sunday, June 1st beginning at 1 p.m. in Daffin Park.
The mission of Surviving Sisters, Inc. is to provide patient navigation to women to help eliminate barriers to quality healthcare, and provide emotional support, and help coordinate patient care.
