Phenix City schools announce superintendent finalist

PHENIX CITY, Ala. - The Phenix City Public Schools system has announced its four candidates for superintendent.

Kenneth Burton, Ed. S., Opelika, Alabama; Christopher Quinn, Ph. D., Stafford, Virginia; Craig Ross, Ph. D., Daphne, Alabama; and Irma Townsend, Ed. D., Enterprise, Alabama; have been announced as finalist to replace Dr. Larry DiChiara, who left in November.

The public is invited to attend the school district's interviews with the candidates.

Interviews of the finalists are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, for Mr. Burton; Wednesday, May 21, for Dr. Townsend; and Thursday, May 22, for Dr. Ross. Travel arrangements are being scheduled for Dr. Quinn.

The times and locations of the interviews are currently being determined. That information will be released soon.
