DURHAM, N.C. -

The Duke Lemur Center is celebrating the arrival of several new lemurs.

The babies will live at the center which is the world’s largest lemur sanctuary outside of their native Madagascar.

Employees are currently preparing for “Lemurpalooza” where guests can learn about the mammals and sponsor one financially for the year.

Lemurs are the most endangered mammal in the world.

The Duke Lemur Center is open year round from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Find out more information here.
