TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Tampa police are asking for the public's help to find Mose Powell Jr., 90, of West Tampa.

Powell, who lives at 1324 W. Arch St. in Tampa, was last seen by family members at their home about 8 a.m. Sunday, the Tampa Police Department said.

Powell, who has Alzheimer's, was wearing brown and black checkered or plaid fleece pajamas and a blue T-shirt under a charcoal gray sweatshirt. He also was wearing socks and open-toe sandals. He left without any identification or money.

Powell is described as 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-4, weighing about 120 to 140 pounds.

He is a retired Hillsborough County teacher and auto mechanic. Powell has been known to frequent Popeye's and breakfast restaurants in West Tampa.
